From the Helm:

Our team has already started launching boats in earnest for the 2020 summer season and our April launch schedule is UP 70% year to date. With this increase in bookings, we are paying close attention to coordinated deliveries and making all efforts to have your boat(s) ready when you want them. You must call to speak with Karrie or Marc at the service desk to get your boat pulled from storage. Due to several operating restrictions from the Governor’s Office, we are doing business “differently” this season. Temporarily, the COVID-19 pandemic is changing the landscape of how business is done in our industry.

For the health of our employees, their families and for you:

  • Retail: Until further notice, our retail facility will remain closed to the public and no client is permitted to enter the dealership sales or service facility.
  • Storage Customers: Your boat will be ready and A. on your trailer in our drop/PU lot on Lake Road (where is was left last fall) B. in the water awaiting your pick-up at our docks on Northwood Lake C. meeting you at an appointed time at your local boat ramp. Prior to getting your boat, your commissioning charges will be e-mailed to you, along with a description of what services were completed prior to launch. This invoice will be paid via CC with a call to 603-736-4750 prior to picking up or receiving your boat.
  • Service: We will have your service list fulfilled and your boat prepared for you to safely enjoy. Please note that we will not be filling any boats with fuel prior to you receiving them. Additionally, due to current state restrictions, we are not offering any detailing services or subcontractor services of any type that will require face to face interaction. Our fuel docks are closed until further notice as is our private boat ramp. Launching capabilities for Northwood Lake exist at the State of New Hampshire Boat Launch approximately 2 miles east of the Boathouse.
  • Boat Registrations: Boat registrations are currently being completed through the Division of Safety Services, Marine Patrol Bureau in Gilford, NH. You can call 603-293-2037 for an appointment for same day service, or simply mail your pre-printed renewal form into the State DMV offices through the Post Office. If you store or service your boat with us, and it is currently on MBH property, you are welcome to mail your pre-printed renewal form to our office, we will process it and apply to your boat during launching. Payment via CC over the phone will be required to process registrations for storage and service clients.
  • Safety: We are taking great precautions to ensure our team members remain safe while they are performing their duties here on Boathouse property. We are meeting regularly to confirm our daily heath, quarantining at home while not at work, keeping appropriate distances from each other, washing hands often and sanitizing all commonly used workspaces. Temporarily, we are not receiving boats from the “field” for service work, simply preparing boats that have been in our storage facility or here as inventory for sale.

Our go-to term for these times during the current pandemic is “STAY FLUID”. We want to be open for business and want you to know that we miss you and your families!!

2020 will find us adjusting to our new normal as time unfolds. Governor Chris Sununu extended the NH State of Emergency Order to May 25, 2020. I will expect to report modifications to our retail functions at that time as the State phases in retail businesses like ours to the public. We’ll do our best to keep you updated.

#StayFluid

Thanks,

Peter & the MacCallum’s Boathouse Crew
